Prices of sesame and cottonseed oil were down by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers and millers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade at a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly put pressure on sesame and cottonseed oil prices.
