Prices of sesame and cottonseed oil declined by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following easing demand from retailers coupled with adequate stocks.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said apart from sluggish demand from retailers, ample stocks position mainly led to decline in sesame and cottonseed oil prices.
