Prices of sesame and cottonseed oils fell further by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to reduced offtake by stockists amid sluggish demand against adequate stocks position.
However, non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said reduced offtake by stockists due to subdued demand from retailers against sufficient stocks position mainly kept pressure on sesame and cottonseed oil prices.
