In restricted activity, sesame oil prices fell by Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to sluggish demand against adequate stocks position.
Linseed oil, in the non-edible section, also eased on reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said sluggish demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in sesame oil prices.

In the non-edible section, linseed oil also declined by Rs 50 to Rs 7,450 per quintal owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.

Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
