Session on skill development held at BRICS Youth Summit

Four working sessions on different issues, including skill development, were today held on the second day of the BRICS Youth Summit 2016 here.

The sessions deliberated on skill development and entrepreneurship, social inclusion, youth voluntarism and youth participation in governance.

The delegates of the BRICS member nations - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - began the second day of the three-day summit with yoga and meditation session, an official release said.

On the last day tomorrow, the delegates will again begin their day with yoga and meditation followed by presentation of working session reports and finalisation of the adoption of the Guwahati BRICS call on Action on Youth.
 

The BRICS Youth Summit was yesterday inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in the presence of Union Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Jitendra Singh along with former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
