Acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted in Thehad area yesterday and seven people were found accepting bets on an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Pune Warriors India.
Rs 60,000, a coloured television, 13 mobile phones, two laptops, a DVD player, two pen drives, a calculator and an accounts book were recovered from their possession, police said.
All the seven had been arrested, they said.
