Seven members of a gang of
hirelings have been arrested along with five sickles and a country pistol during vehicle check up at Perunazhi, police said today.
Theie vehicle did not stop when police signalled it to stop on the Koilangula road and they had to chase it and force them to stop the vehicle.
The gang members even threatened the Sub inspector Ramamurthy at gun point.
They had been booked under Indian Arms Act and IPC 506 (II) ( criminal intimidation).
