The minors include, five girls and two boys, all aged between 12-17, said a functionary of the NGO, Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA), adding the south-west Delhi administration and police were the other members of the task force that led the raids in west Delhi's Rajouri Garden.

"Raids were conducted at three placement agencies named Manish placement agency, P B placement agency and B Aadivasi placement agency at C Block, Shivaji enclave, Rajouri Garden," Rakesh Senger of BBA said.

"These placement agencies have not given any details pertaining to their functioning to the Labour Department, as per laid down norms," he added.

Another girl, aged 20 years has also been rescued, who was brought to the capital as a minor and was being forcibly made to work as a domestic help, he said.

"We have been told by the children that they have not been paid their wages and were not allowed to go back to their homes," he said.

The rescued children were later produced before the Child Welfare Committee to record their statements.
