Seven members of a gang who allegedly extorted people by posing as policemen were today nabbed, police said.
On reliable information about the pseudo Special Operation Team, a team of Cyberabad Police apprehended them at Miyapur area here and on interrogation they have confessed about the offences they committed at various places across the city, a release by Cyberabad Police said.
The modus operandi of the gang was that by posing as SOT police they extorted gold, money, mobile phones and one bike from public, it added.
