A court in Bihar's Vaishali district today sentenced seven persons, six of them members of a family, to life imprisonment after finding them guilty of a murder committed 20 years ago.
Additional District and Sessions Judge V Kanhaiya Ram earlier convicted the seven accused Vinod Das, Mahendra Das, Yogendra Das, Dinesh Sah, Nathuni Sah, Rambriksha Das, all members of a family, and Devendra Sah for killing Ajay Kumar.
The judge also imposed Rs 25,000 fine on each of the convicts.
All seven convicts were present in the court during pronouncement of the verdict and were taken to jail after conviction by the court.
