Koraput district
administration has suspended seven teachers for dereliction of duty, officials said today.
While six suspended teachers belong to Parajabeda high school under Dasmantpur block, one is from Odiapentha upper primary school in Maoist-hit Narayanpatna block.
Officials said the action was taken on Friday after charges of negligence in duties against the teachers were found to be true.
"Suspension orders of teachers have been sent and new teachers will be posted in the school. Negligence in duty will not be tolerated at any coat," said Koraput district Collector Yamini Sarangi.
