Seven workers were rescued today after mud caved in on them while they were engaged in digging on the outskirts.
The workers were removing mud for constructing a revetment when loose sand fell on them, police said.
Police and fire and rescue personnel rescued them.
Two workers, who were injured in the leg, have been admitted to the government hospital here.
