"Vaccination is being given to cows, bullocks and goats to prevent further deaths," Dr Manoj Kumar Mani told media here.
The cattle were found dead at several villages in Heranj, Menaka, Barwadih, Garu and Balumath blocks, he said.
Meanwhile, Independent MP from Chatra constitutency, under which Latehar district comes, demanded that medical teams be sent to the villages for speedy vaccination of the cattle.
