Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who flew back home from South Africa today, said that numerous possibilities have emerged to work with the country in many sectors.

"Possibilities of co-operation in a number of sectors with South Africa have emerged. Good work has been done in South Africa for women's empowerment," Chouhan told reporters at the airport after arriving from South Africa.

"Women have 45 per cent representation in Parliament without any statutory provision. More land is available there in proportion to population," he said.

He said that excellent work has been done in the African nation in sectors like wildlife tourism, mining, food processing and infrastructure development.

South African provinces have shown keen interest in agriculture growth and provisions for women's empowerment in Madhya Pradesh, he said.

The heads of South African provinces have expressed their desire to exhibit artifacts of African tribal culture in Madhya Pradesh's tribal museum and participate in the Global Investors' Summit, he said.
