Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot today said several posts of chairmen of various local bodies have been lying vacant for the last 20 months and demanded filling up of the vacancies so that people could benefit.
He accused Vasundhara Raje government of "dilly-dallying" in filling up the posts.
"About 25 posts of chairmen in boards including State Woman Commission, Khadi Gramodyog, Sahitya Academies, State Sports Council as well as posts of chairmen in 14 UITs were lying vacant and the official works was being hampered in last 20 months of BJP rule," Pilot said here.
The Congress leader also alleged that crime graph against women in Rajasthan has risen sharply in the last 20 months.
