Sewdish min's state secretary meets Dave

Union Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave today met Sweden's state secretary to the International Development and Climate Minister Eva Svedling, who lauded India's effort on mitigation of the global issue.

The minister also met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu apart from Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi, with whom he discussed the issue of rejuvenation of river and ponds in the Union Territory.

He discussed various issues related to climate change with Svedling, who appreciated India's position and progress on mitigation of the global issue.

Later taking to twitter, Dave and his Ministry said, "State Secy to Minister of International Development Cooperation & Climate, Sweden, Ms. Eva Svedling called on Hon. Minister Shri @anilmdave.
 

"Discussed issues on #climatechange. Sweden appreciated India's position and progress on #climatechange mitigation. @SwedeninIndia."

The Environment Minister also tweeted that he had a cordial discussion with Naidu on the issue of Andhra Pradesh's new capital.

Lt Gov of Puducherry, Dr @thekiranbedi called on Min Shri @anilmdave. Discussed issue of rejuvenation of River & Ponds in Puducherry.

"Also discussed about possible cooperation for #SolidWasteManagement and #DeepSeaDischarge related matters," the Ministry tweeted.
