Police today claimed to have busted a 'high profile' alleged sex racket at a well-known spa here with the arrest of three persons.

A "high profile" flesh trade racket was being run under the guise of massage at a spa in suburban Chembur, a senior police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off, the spa was raided this evening and three persons - the owner, manager and a pimp - were apprehended, the officer said.

Seven girls, including six foreigners were rescued from the spot, the officer said, adding they will be sent to women's rehabilitation centre.

He said the girls used to be brought from Thailand on work visa and forced into flesh trade at the spa.

A case under relevant sections of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act has been registered in this regard and investigations are underway, police said.

According to them, all the accused will be produced in a local court tomorrow.
