Seychelles is a maritime neighbour and trusted friend of India and both the countries can cooperate in the health care sector apart from other areas of mutual cooperation, President Ram Nath Kovind said today.
He was speaking after meeting a Parliamentary delegation from that country led by Patrick Pillay, Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles.
Welcoming the delegation, the president observed that the last Parliamentary delegation from Seychelles had come in 2013 while the then president Pratibha Patil had addressed the National Assembly of Seychelles in 2012.
