This will be the first show of its kind in the MENA region, organised by IndiaCast. MTV India is distributed in over 31 countries around the world.
Within the MENA region, MTV India is available across 21 countries through DTH, Cable & IPTV through Pehla & E Life Packages.
"We are thrilled with the positive audience response received by MTV India since it launched in MENA region in August '12.
"The rare blend of South Asian focused lifestyle, youth and original music programming on the channel has been much appreciated and tentpole properties like Coke Studio Season 2, MTV Unplugged, Roadies etc in particular have built very loyal audiences in a short span of time," Sachin Gokhale, Business Head, Middle East & Africa, IndiaCast, said.
According to Gokhale, it is part of the channel strategy to bring South Asian audiences in MENA region localized experiences wherein they can engage and be a part of MTV India's content in a more intimate manner.
This concert is the first of such activities in the region and the channel is planning several more such musical and lifestyle experiences.
