As part of his twice-a-month

exercise, BJP chief Amit Shah met party workers and members of the public today and heard their concerns.

"Interacting with karyakartas (workers) and general public at BJP headquarter, New Delhi," he said in a tweet.

Shah interacted with party workers, who had come from different places, and general people, and listened to their concerns and ideas, party sources said.

In his efforts to expand the saffron party's base, Shah has begun meeting BJP workers on the first and third Monday of every month starting last month.

For promoting greater harmony and synergy between the party and its government at the Centre, the practice of Union ministers meeting workers every weekday has also been started.
