BJP president Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit to Lucknow, beginning July 29, the party said today.
During his visit, the BJP chief was likely to hold meetings with ministers, workers and various units of the party, it added.
Uttar Pradesh BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said, "Party chief Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit to Lucknow from July 29. This will further increase the enthusiasm of the party workers."
He added that during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Shah was the party's Uttar Pradesh in-charge and under his leadership, the BJP bagged 71 of the 80 parliamentary seats in the state.
