BJP president Amit Shah would flag off Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's 'Suraj Gaurav Yatra' from Charbhuja Nath temple in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district on August 4.
The 40-day yatra to seek the people's mandate in the upcoming assembly elections will cover all the divisions in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi would address a rally in Ajmer on the concluding day of the yatra in September, party' state president Madan Lal Saini said.
Starting from the Udaipur division, the yatra will traverse through Bharatpur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota and Jaipur divisions before concluding in Ajmer division.
The party president will flag off the yatra at Charbhuja Nath in Udaipur division and the concluding meeting would be addressed by the prime minster in Ajmer division, Saini said.
The Rajasthan assembly elections are due later this year.
