Vishal Bharadwaj, who is reuniting with Shahid Kapoor post 'Kaminey' for his ambitious adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', promises to present an untouched side of the actor.
Shahid has not been very successful with his last few screen outings but Bhardwaj hopes to change that with his next.
"Post 'Kaminey', I haven't seen much of his films but I am told he is doing films which did not have scope for his talent. There is much more than his commercial stuff. He is a very deep actor," Bharadwaj told PTI on the sidelines of Ladakh International film festival (LIFF) here.

The new film is said to be titled 'Haider' but Bhardwaj is not willing to let on much.
"It is difficult for me to reveal things about the project. There will be lot of surprises in the film. I am looking forward to work with Shahid again. He is one of the finest actors," Bhardwaj, 48, said.
"We are going to cast a new girl. We are still auditioning. Also, We are in the process of casting other actors," he added.
After "7 Khoon Maaf", Bharadwaj will again move to Kashmir to shoot his untitled film. The film will go on floors by the end of this year.
"Local people in Kashmir are very supportive, the administration is supportive. There is no problem shooting there. We are in the process of casting other actors as of now we have only finalised Shahid," he said.
Bharadwaj is quite excited to present a retrospective on his mentor Gulzar at LIFF.
"The place is so beautiful it is such an intimate festival so it is fun to be here. The films are so good, there is Gulzar saab retrospection. We are going to have fun. I am looking forward to 'The Fronteir Gandhi' and all Gulzar saab's films," he added.
LIFF, which began today, will run till September 15.
