He will also serve as chairman and Managing Director of Delhi Transco Limited, which maintains all power transmission networks in the city.
Prior to joining the Delhi government, Sinha was chief secretary of Andaman and Nicobar administration.
Sinha had served in Central and Delhi governments in various capacities previously. He had also worked with the UN mission in Afghanistan and with the World Bank.
