Kerala High Court today adjourned to July 23, the bail plea of television actress and former Censor Board member Shalu Menon, who was arrested in connection with the Solar Panel scam.
When the petition came for hearing, Director General of Prosecutions T Asaf Ali told the court that he was engaged in another case and was not ready with the matter.
Expressing displeasure, Justice S S Sateeschandran said it was not desirable to adjourn a bail application when the accused is in custody.

The actor submitted she had not received any unlawful amounts in connection with the solar deal. Her assests are made out of her dance school, acting and dance programmes. She said she had purchased a car from a private financial agency.
Her bail plea had earlier been rejected by a lower court in Thiruvananthapuram.
