Musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have provided the music for Gajendra Ahire's supernatural thriller 'Anvat', which marks their debut in Marathi films.
The thriller will be premiered at the upcoming Goa Marathi Film Festival scheduled here next month. It stars celebrity couple Aadinath Kothare and Urmila Knetker besides Makrand Anaspure in pivotal roles.
"It was not difficult to get Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy on board for the film. In fact, they have done this project without charging anything," Ahire told PTI in an interview.

The film is set in the backdrop of 1975's Konkan, Goa and Hyderabad.
"This is for the first time that a supernatural thriller genre is being tried in Marathi film industry. I have been working on different genres and they are challenging for me.
