Senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar slammed Congress for its lack of interest in pursuing the issue of black money stashed abroad.

Kumar also accused Congress leaders of having accounts in banks of Switzerland and other countries and said this was the reason due to which the party-led government at the Centre was disinterested in pursuing the matter.

"Lots of Congress leaders have Swiss accounts. This is why Congress is not acting positively to bring back 100 lakh crore dumped there," Kumar said after filing his nominations here for the Kangra Lok Sabha seat from here.

The former Union Minister and ex-Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister also said that a magazine had recently published the names and account numbers of 20 Indians having cash stashed abroad.

Speaking to media in Dharamsala, Kumar said, "The result of the Lok Sabha elections are already written on the wall, and almost all the surveys are endorsing it. BJP is strengthening itself day by day," and asserted that by May 16, it would become the topmost party of the country.

Stating that martyrs of independence had given a pure and innocent India, by governments like UPA had made it corrupt, hungry and weak, and frightened of Pakistan and China, Kumar said this time there would be the most powerful government of the country till date, which shall be led by Narendra Modi.

He said Modi government shall again fulfill the dreams of those martyrs.

This election would be a straight fight between the BJP and Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party stands nowhere in Kangra, he said.

Shanta Kumar will take on Chander Kumar of Congress and Rajan Shushant of AAP among others for the Kangra Lok Sabha seat, elections for which are to be held on May 7.
