"Do not denigrate institutions. It is we who raise the issues in Parliament if any minister is found involved in wrong doing. And many a times, action has happened against the guilty," Yadav told reporters here.
He was replying to questions about Team Anna's recent attack on President Pranab Mukherjee and politicians in past.
Yadav, however, refrained from making any direct comment when asked about Arvind Kejriwal's attack on Mukherjee.
"When Anna Hazare himself congratulated him, then I do not comment on something which was said earlier. It is not appropriate for me to speak on it now after Anna has congratulated Mukherjee," he said.
Yadav's party JD(U), a key NDA ally, had backed UPA nominee Mukherjee's candidature.

The JD(U) chief said that it was not a case of Team Anna alone fighting against corruption...It had happened during the JP movement and even the Supreme Court and Parliament fight against the menace.
"Spreading awareness among people is a difficult game and that does not happen unless you go to people. None except political parties have the structure required to do it," Yadav said.
Asked about reports of Team Anna's plans to contest elections, Yadav said that there is no check on anybody to contest polls or form a political party.
