The court of the judicial magistrate at Khanna today sent sharpshooters Hardeep Singh Shera and Ramandeep Singh on a four-day police remand in a targeted killings case.
The police obtained the remand of the duo in the murder of Shiv Sena leader Durga Das, who was shot dead in broad daylight on a busy road in Khanna on April 23, 2016, officials said.
Meanwhile, DIG (Ludhiana Police Range) Gursharn Singh Sandhu said proceedings were initiated to produce others arrested in targeted killings cases, including those nabbed for funding and conspiracy, in the Khanna court.
