India's Sharrmadaa Baluu might have missed out on going deep into the women's singles draw at the ongoing Delhi Open but she did manage to go into the record books by playing the longest tie-break in the main draw of a tournament on ITF Pro circuit.
Up against Thailand's Varatchaya Wonteanchai in the second round of the USD 25,000 ITF, qualifier Sharrmadaa lost the hard-fought contest 6-7 (20-22) 6-7 (4) late on Wednesday night.
It was the longest ever tie-break played in a main draw.
