BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha today suggested expanding support base for construction of toilets under Prime Minister model village project.
"Its a grim situation that while nearly 69 per cent of the population have mobile phones and a whopping 68 per cent of households lack toilets at home," Sinha told PTI today.
"I feel the support base should be increased under Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana under which each MP adopts a village in his/her constituency for constructing toilets," the actor-turned politician said.
