Shatrughan, Nitish exchange warmth at Patna Airport

Days after their meeting which triggered controversy, BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar came across each other at the Airport here and exchanged greetings.

The two had a chance meeting in front of the VIP gate when Sinha was going to Delhi and the Chief Minister was returning from the national capital after attending condolence meeting of former President A P J Abdul Kalam.

First they waved hands at each other from respective cars and later Kumar came out of the vehicle. Sinha also alighted from his car and both shook hands.

When media persons asked Kumar about his meeting with Sinha, he said it was a chance meeting during each they asked about the well being of each other.
 

Sinha enquired about the condolence meeting of Kalam, an associate of the actor-turned BJP Lok Sabha member said.

Earlier a day after the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the state on Saturday, the meeting of Sinha with the Chief Minister at Kumar's residence triggered speculation if a sulking Sinha was planning to crossover to JD(U), which he had strongly denied.
