The special teams set up by Hyderabad Police to check harassment of women in public places are showing good result, Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy said today.

Police set up these teams called "She" in October last year to ensure safety of women in the state capital. Each team comprises five police personnel and they have been provided small cameras to record the movements of trouble-makers.

"The She teams formed by Hyderabad Police to nab stalkers and those harassing women have been showing good results," Reddy said.

The Minister was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a private function here.

He said maintenance of law and order in Hyderabad and Cyberabad has been accorded top priority by the Telangana Government. These cities are being patrolled regularly by police who have been provided new set of four and two-wheeler vehicles.

He said the TRS Government has taken various measures for the welfare of police force.

On Telangana and Andhra Pradesh relations, he said both States have chalked out plans for their development.

Reddy parried questions on relations between the two States, who still have to solve several thorny issues arising out of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh last year.
