Delhi Congress president J P Aggarwal today hailed Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit as "face" of the city and complimented her development model, nearly a month after Rahul Gandhi asked the two leaders to bury their hatchet and work unitedly to ensure fourth successive victory of the party in the upcoming assembly polls.
"Sheila Dikshit is the face of the city. She has transformed Delhi in the last 14 years. She is known for her development model," Aggarwal said.

Aggarwal and Dikshit have been at loggerheads on various issues in the last few years and CM's supporters had even pressed for change of DPCC leadership couple of months back.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi in a brainstorming session at DPCC last month had strictly told Delhi Congress leaders to work in close cooperation with each other so that the party retained power in the assembly polls slated for November.
Underlining the need for better coordination between the party and the government, Gandhi had even indicated that he will not hesitate to take tough action against those violating discipline. "The Congress President is soft. But I am not soft. I will not tolerate indiscipline. We must work unitedly," he had told the meeting.
In her brief address, Dikshit congratulated Mehrotra for her new assignment and hoped that she will be able to enthuse women in the city to join hands with Congress.
"We have tried our best to ensure overall development of the city," Dikshit said.
Mehrotra said she will try to strengthen the party at the grassroot level. "I will try to strengthen the party at the grassroot level. My priority will be to take everybody along," she said.
