Sheila felicitates successful students of CBSE Class X exam

Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today congratulated the students, teachers and parents and officials of Education department for "impressive" performance of the city government schools in CBSE class X examination.

"The success rate of Delhi government schools has gone up to 99.45 per cent from last year's 99.23. It is a remarkable achievement," said Dikshit.

The improvement reflects the commitment, devotion and hardwork put in by the teachers and the officers in the Directorate of Education. It is also a testimony to the standard of schools in Delhi," said Dikshit.

She said government-run schools performed much better than the public and aided schools in Delhi.
 

"The success rate of of government schools is 99.45 per cent while it is 99.17 per cent for public schools and 97.26 per cent for aided schools.
