Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today inaugurated the third phase of the Delhi State Cancer Institute East which comprises modular operation theatres complex and other modern medical facilities.
The integrated modular operation theatres complex has all the latest technical facilities for undertaking complex cancer surgery procedures with minimum complications and infection.
ICU, Bone Marrow transplant, PET MR Scan, Medical Cyclotron, Gamma Camera, Radioisotope treatments, Onco-dentistry wing, Academic Programme and Outreach Services along with ISM, Yoga and Naturopathy are in the pipe line.
Another unit with similar facilities is in pipeline in west Delhi at Janak Puri, an official said.
