Former Jharkhand Chief Ministers and JMM leaders Shibu Soren and Hemant Soren today expressed grief over the death of veteran Communist leader A B Bardhan.
Condoling the demise, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) president Shibu Soren said he received invaluable cooperation from Bardhan who had vast parliamentary experience.
Hemant Soren, Shibu's son, said the JMM is with Bardhan's family at this time of grief.
"A B Bardhan had been in political life since independence and we should take inspiration from his over six decades' (long) political life," they said.
After a month of hospitalisation following a paralytic stroke in December, Bardhan passed away yesterday at the age of 92 at a Delhi hospital.
