Japanese video game designer and producer Shigeru Miyamoto is working on a movie based on Nintendo's strategy video game series 'Pikmin'.
Titled 'Pikmin Short Movie', it is the iconic game designer's first animated short film, reported Digital Spy.
The upcoming title was conceived as a result of content that Miyamoto wasn't able to explore in the Pikmin games.

It will consist of three episodes called 'Midnight Juice', 'The Treasure Inside the Bottle' and 'One Tough Day'.
'Pikmin Short Movie' is to be screened at next month's Tokyo International Film Festival.
