Shares of drug firm Shilpa Medicare soared by over 15 per cent today after the company received GMP compliance certificate from Japanese health regulator PMDA for its two active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) plants in Karnataka.
The stock zoomed 15.12 per cent to Rs 503.65 on BSE.
On NSE, it advanced by 14.9 per cent to Rs 503.80.

Meanwhile, in the broader market, the BSE Sensex was trading higher by 419.93 points at 25,565.52 at 1140 hrs.
