The construction of greenfield airport near the temple town Shirdi in Ahmednagar of Maharashtra will be completed in the next four to five months, said Vishwas Patil, managing director and vice president of Maharashtra Vimantal Pradhikaran here today.
The state government had granted Rs 100 crore for the remaining work of Shirdi airport and had made available 20 hectares of government land, he said.
Airport Traffic Control machinery would be installed at the cost of Rs 30 crore soon, he said.
The town is famous for its Saibaba temple.
