BJP and Shiv Sena, the ruling alliance partners in Maharashtra, have decided to set up a coordination committee for smooth functioning of the government.
State BJP chief Raosaheb Danve met the Sena leaders Subhash Desai and Anil Desai last evening to discuss the same.
Talking to reporters in Pandharpur, Danve said the committee would look into contentious issues which are creating hurdles in the smooth functioning of the state government. Incidentally, Shiv Sena mouthpiece Rs Saamana' today slammed the state government over farmers' suicides in Vidarbha.
