Promising Indian shuttlers Ruthvika Shivani Gadde, Tanvi Lad and Siril Verma advanced to the quarterfinals in the singles events of the Russian Open Grand Prix at Sport Hall Olympic here today.
Fourth seed Ruthvika defeated fellow Indian Arundhati Pantawane 21-9 21-10 to set up a fight against Russia's Elena Komendrovskaja in women's singles.
Third seed Tanvi also disposed off Russia's Ekaterina Kut 21-10 21-13 and will face another local player Evgeniya Kosetskaya next.

In men's singles, Siril Verma outclassed Israel's Misha Zilberman, seeded 3rd, 21-15 21-9 and will meet Malaysia's Zulhelmi Zulkiffli, seeded 8th.
Among other Indians in fray, Jakkampudi Meghana and Poorvisha S Ram defeated Russian combo of Victoria Slobodyanyuk and Elizaveta Tarasova 12-21 21-16 21-12. The Indians duo will face local pair of Tatjana Bibik and Elena Komendrovskaja next.
Second seeds Pranaav Jerry Chopra and N Sikki also made it to the final eight after prevailing over Russian combo of Artem Serpionov and Tatjana Bibik 21-19 21-13. They will next square off against Aleksandr Vasilkin and Kristina Virvich.
