Attacking leaders of Hindutva organisations for suggesting that Hindu women should give birth to at least four children, senior UP minister Shivpal Singh Yadav today said they must first follow what they preach.
"Some leaders of Hindutva organisations are asking Hindu women to give birth to four children...First they should themselves do the same", Yadav said.
Defending the state government, the PWD and Irrigation minister said that law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is better than other states.

"As far as crime is concerned, when compared to some other states it is far lesser", he said.
Stressing that the state government is doing good work at every level, Yadav said that party president Mulayam Singh Yadav has raised some objections and work would be done on his suggestions.
The minister, who inaugurated a BSA office building here, said that probe would be ordered into alleged irregularities in the development works of historical Lilaur pond and cleaning of Rohilkhand canal.
