No one was in the factory located on VIP road when the fire broke out around 7 AM, fire officer Baljeet Singh Hudda said.
Machines in the factory as also raw material and wooden furniture was reduced to ashes despite four fire tenders pressed into action, he said.
It took around two hours to douse the fire, he said, adding the cause behind the fire was yet to be ascertained.
