Writer-producer Shonda Rhimes is all set to join the board of Planned Parenthood, an NGO that provides reproductive health care in the US and around the world.
In an interview with Elle magazine, the 47-year-old media personality says she wants to serve the society and she will try to do that in any way possible.
"I haven't totally defined what I want to do yet, but mostly I want to be of service in any way that I can. And if that is helping to convey messages, that is what I'm going to do... I think it's important for women to have a means to get health care. I think it's important that women have a place to go to get Pap smears and cancer screenings," says Rhimes.
