A university in Himachal Pradesh has decided to start a job-oriented programme in yoga, its Vice Chancellor P K Khosla said here today.
Khosla told reporters here that yoga has been introduced at Shoolini University in Solan in view of the importance being given to it across the world.
"The programme has been started keeping in mind the fact that every school, college, university, hotel, resort and hospital will employ yoga teachers in the country and abroad," he said.

Khosla said the varsity will offer research programmes at the undergraduate level in professional courses.
An undergraduate (B Tech) student can study yoga from the first year, he said.
