"After a complaint, they were asked to stop the shooting and the team left from there," SHO Pushkar Gopal Lal said.
Shooting at the Ghats of Pushkar lake is prohibited hence the team had no permission.
Police sources said that the veteran actor was present on location during the shooting of the film.
Early this morning, Anupam tweeted, "Shooting in Pushkar, Rajasthan. On way to location clicked the pic. Dad's name is also Pushkar. Silver Lining is Him," posting a photo alongwith his tweet.
