The owner of a Photostat shop and computer centre was arrested today for allegedly downloading pornographic material and copying them in the mobile phones of schoolchildren on payment of Rs 200.
District Collector Malarvizhi, who received complaints from some people in Keezhapoongudi town, directed police to set a trap and arrest him.
Police then sent a school student to the shop with Rs 200 and a mobile phone. The man took the money and recorded all pornographic material in the phone.
The boy went back and gave the mobile phone back to police following which the shop owner was arrested.
