Shopkeeper booked for hiring child labour

A case has been registered against a person here for allegedly employing two children as labourers in his shop, police said today.

In a raid carried out by Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Faridabad, two boys aged 10 years and 12 years were found working at the shop of one Indra in sector 10, Investigating Officer ASI Satbir Singh said.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections 14(3) of Child Labour Act and 23 of Juvenile Justice Act by Inspector Surendra Kumar of Anti-Human Trafficking Unit.
