A short circuit in the electricity distribution room of the Madras High Court disrupted power supply for a few minutes today.
The electricity staff of the court noticed smoke emanating from the room this morning and immediately shut down the power supply.
They found that a short circuit has triggered the smoke, rectified it and restored the power supply after a gap of about 15 minutes, court sources said.
